Analysis of Sulphur and Phosphorus on the Growth and Yield of Black Gram (Phaseolus mungo L.)

The experimental work was conducted in randomized block design with three replications. treatment comprises of levels phosphorus (0, 20 and 40 kg P2O5 ha-1) Sulphur. Growth parameters viz. plant height, number branches, leaves plant-1 dry matter yield appreciably improved the application up to ha-1. More values these were higher 15 30 S ha-1 over control. root length, total effective nodules fresh weight significantly while sulphur had no significant impact on parameters.
